No one was hurt after an attempted robbery at a St. Catharines bank.

Someone tried to take money out of the ATM at the CIBC in King Street shortly after midnight on September 26th when they were approached by a man with a knife.

Police say he took off after the victim didn't hand over the cash.

The suspect is believed to be a white man between 20 and 30-years-old.

He's about 5'3 and he was wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans, brown shoes with white soles and a blue mask at the time.

Anyone with information should contact the NRP.
