Students Back in Class Today

High schools students in Niagara and across the province will be back in class today.

But, there could be further job action from the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation.
Union President Harvey Bischof says there could be future walkouts if there's no progress at the bargaining table.
No further talks are scheduled with the province, but the union says it's ready to talk if the province offers some movement on its positions.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Stephen Lecce says he's disappointed in threats of job action, saying it targets the kids more than the government.
The union's one-day strike yesterday closed high schools in the DSBN, as well as all elementary and secondary schools in the French Public and Catholic boards.
