Niagara Regional Police are searching for a suspect following a sexual assault that took place Monday evening in the arcade inside the Skylon Tower, in Niagara Falls.
Initial investigation has revealed an adult female was exiting the bathroom at approximately 7:50pm when she was approached by an unknown male from behind. Subsequently, sexual assault took place. The victim sustained minor physical injuries and was assessed at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Service (NEMS) paramedics before being transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim has since been released from hospital and continues to recover at home.
Detectives are appealing to members of the public for assistance identifying the suspect, described as follows:
- Male
- White
- 20-30 years
- Clean shaven
- Wearing a black baseball hat
- Wearing a black winter jacket
- Wearing a green hoody (hood up)
- Wearing black pants
The victim and suspect were not known to one and another.
