Second Suspect Arrested in Deadly Clifton Hill Shooting

Eighteen year old male from Mississauga charged with robbery, unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Niagara Regional Police have made a second arrest in connection to a deadly Clifton Hill shooting that occurred in April. 

Investigators say an 18 year old male from Mississauga has been arrested in connection with the April 8th incident. 

The suspect faces numerous charges, including robbery, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and theft of motor vehicle. 

Police say the accused was under 18 years old at the time, so his name is not being released. 

On April 8th, one person was shot dead and two others were injured on Clifton Hill near the Great Midway around 12:30 a.m.. 

All three victims were males under the age of 18.

Detectives say a blue Ford F-150 with significant damage, no front license plate and a missing door handle was seen speeding out of the area, heading westbound on Lundy’s Lane toward the area of Montrose Road and Highway 420.

On July 19th, a 17 year old from Mississauga was arrested and charged for numerous offences, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
