Remembrance Day Ceremonies Taking Place Across Niagara Tomorrow

In Niagara Falls, a Remembrance Day service will be held at the tomb of th Unknown Soldier.

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, and lots of ceremonies will take place throughout the region. 

Here in Niagara Falls, a service will take place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Fairview Cemetery starting at 10:45. 

At 1:00 p.m., a service will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion on Spring Street in Niagara Falls.

Elaine Hall, the president of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479, is encouraging residents to come out and pay their respects. 

"It's the day that we should try and remember our veterans", she says.

In St. Catharines, a parade will take place starting at 10:00 a.m. in front of city hall. 

The parade will head over to the cenotaph on St. Paul Street. 

In Thorold, a service will take place at the cenotaph on Albert Street. 

In Welland, there will be two services: one at the Royal Canadian Legion branch on Morningstar Avenue starting at 10:30 a.m., and one at the cenotaph in Chippawa Park. 

Fort Erie will also have two services. 

One will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion location on Garrison Road, and the other will be in Ridgeway at the cenotaph. 

In Beamsville, a service will be held at the Jacob Beam School cenotaph. 

Wainfleet's ceremony will take place at the cenotaph on Park Street. 

The service in Grimsby will be held at the Grimsby Museum cenotaph.

In Port Colborne, there will be two services: one in H.h. Knoll Lakeview Park starting at 10:30 a.m., and the other at Cedar Bay Centennial Park at 10:45 a.m.

The Queen Street cenotaph will be the site of Niagara-on-the-Lake's service. 

Smithville will gather at the legion on St. Catharines Street. 

Veterans Park in Pelham will also host a service.
