Mobile vaccination clinic hitting Brock University September 9th.

The Ontario government's GO-VAXX bus is making a stop at Brock University.

The province has teamed up with Metrolinx to temporarily convert a pair of GO Transit buses into mobile vaccination clinics.

One of the buses will set up shop at Brock University's main campus on Thursday, September 9th.

Students, staff and community members hoping to get a first or second Pfizer shot can head over to the Zone 3 parking lot between 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Vaccinations will be administered on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis, and appointments will not be offered.

"Hosting the GO-VAXX bus two days after our Fall Term gets underway offers the Brock community another convenient option to get vaccinated," said Lynn Wells, Provost and Interim President, Brock University. "Our aim for the coming academic year is to get back to offering students the on-campus experience Brock is known for. Achieving that goal relies on a high rate of vaccination among our students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus."

Anyone hoping to receive a dose is asked to bring their health card or another form of identification.
