Niagara Health says it's due to doctor shortage for Sunday afternoon/evening
The Port Colborne Urgent Care centre is closing early Sunday.
Niagara Health says it'll lock up at 4pm, reopening the following morning at 10, and resuming regular hours.
This is due to the ongoing challenges of finding doctors to cover all shifts, despite ongoing outreach efforts to local doctors and offering incentives.
Niagara Health adds emergency rooms in Welland, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines hospitals are open around the clock, and the Fort Erie urgent care is open from 10 to 8pm.
For non emergencies, visit your family doctor, community health centre or walk in clinic.
