Police seized more than $42-million worth of illegal cannabis in a massive drug bust that included a raid in Jordan Station.

The OPP executed 26 search warrants in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Jordan, Simcoe, Markham, Canfield, Welland, Leamington, Scarborough, Richmond Hill and British Columbia last Thursday.

They seized the following:

- 101,049 illegal cannabis plants;
- 1,921 pounds of illegal cannabis bud;
- 21 pounds of illegal cannabis shatter;
- 2 ounces of cocaine;
- 3 pounds of illegal cannabis hash;
- 22 pounds of illegal cannabis oil;
- Hundreds of illegal cannabis vape pens;
- 6 firearms including two .22 pistols, one 9mm Glock, one AR 15 assault rifle and two shotguns;
- More than $1-million worth of grow equipment;
- Numerous high-end jewelry items;
- Four vehicles;
- More than $2.5-million in Canadian cash;
- $580,828 in U.S. cash;
- $379,383 in Chinese and South Korean currency.

Police say this was a criminal enterprise that was exploiting Health Canada.

Eight people have been arrested for allegedly being involved in the production and wholesale distribution of illegal pot in Canada and the U.S.

They're not members of an organized crime group but police say they were involved in a large-scale sophisticated operation.

The OPP is planning to release a list of names and the charges they face in the near future.
