Police Looking for Stabbing Suspect

Police say Boysie Murray could still be armed

An appeal from Niagara regional police for help to find a man wanted for a stabbing over the weekend.

They say they were called to the Tim Hortons parking lot on McLeod Road and Dorchester yesterday morning at around 10.

They found a man in his 20s with a serious stab wound, who was taken to hospital with what police are calling non-threatening injuries.  A woman in her 20s was taken to hospital after being punched several times.

Police say an argument started with another man in the drive thru, which lead to a confrontation.

The suspect fled in a 2010 Audi, eventually found in the Queenston and Eastchester area of St. Catharines, but police were not able to catch him there.

They are looking for 41-year old Boysie Alexander Ashton Murray of St. Catharines, wanted for assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police add he is black, 6'1, 200lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.  He has tattoos on his right forearm, and a tattoo on his right neck featuring the word "MOD".  Boysie Murray was last seen wearing a blue track suit, a white t-shirt with a large logo on the chest, dark baseball cap with a white logo, and dark shoes.

Police say he is known to have ties to the St. Catharines, Niagara and Toronto areas, and if you see him, do not approach him as he may still be armed.

The victims and suspect do not know each other.
