Police Investigating Smithville Vehicle Thefts

The NRP has released several photos as part of an investigation into the thefts of two vehicles, as well as several reported thefts from parked cars.

Niagara police want your help cracking a case relating to two vehicle thefts as thefts from several other cars. 

On Wednesday, several Smithville residents reported items taken from vehicles. 

As well, officers also received two stolen car reports. 

Investigators say in the early morning hours of September 21st, three suspects broke into at least 11 parked cars and stole items. 

The same suspects are also believed to have stolen two cars. 

The first car is a four door gold/yellow 2010 Ford Taurus with Ontario license plate number BWBY461.

The other car is a red three door 2013 Hyundai Veloster with Ontario license plate numberCMKN134.

Officers determined that credit cards taken from some of the cars were fraudulently used at stores in Hamilton. 

Police want your help identifying the suspects as well as a white SUV spotted in the area.
