Parking ban in effect May 1st to October 31st.

The City of Port Colborne is reminding residents that parking restrictions will soon be in effect along Lake Erie's shoreline.

Restrictions will be in effect from May 1st to October 31st.

Residents are encouraged to park at the city's two public beaches.

While Nickel Beach and Centennial-Cedar Bay Beach open on May 20th, off-season access is available at both locations with free parking and walk-on access.

Port Colborne residents can park at both beaches during the summer if they have a free PORTicipate pass, but non-residents will have to pay for a $100 pass to park on weekdays.

A full list of areas where parking is banned can be found here
