Volunteers sought for Fall Community Clean Sweep Day.
The Park in the City Committee is looking for volunteers for their annual Fall Community Clean Sweep Day.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, October 16th, and will kickoff at the MacBain Community Centre Park.
Volunteers will hit several parks, trails and main roads around Niagara Falls, picking up trash.
Participants are encouraged to stick with members of their own household, but schools, churches, social clubs and businesses can register teams of their own, so long as COVID-19 safety precautions are followed.
Residents are urged to help keep public spaces clean by securing loose items on garbage day and walking over to the next bin when the nearest one is full.
