Details Expected Today Clarifying Stay at Home Order

The province will release more details today about the stay at home order.

Starting tomorrow morning at 12:01, the province's new stay at home order takes effect.

The premier is asking us to only go out for essential activities like grocery shopping and medical appointments in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Doug Ford is also asking all businesses to ensure that any employee who can work from home, does work from home.

The province will release more details today about the stay at home order.

Legal parameters for the order will be published online today and offer more clarification on the ``do's and don'ts.''

Ford also declaring another state of emergency yesterday along with other restrictions on non essential store operating hours

The premier announced the measures shortly after the province released new projections that show the virus is on track to overwhelm Ontario's health-care system.

Right now 25 percent of the province's hospitals have no available intensive care unit beds and another quarter have only one or two beds free.

Ontario reported 2,903 cases of COVID-19 yesterday

Niagara Public Health announced 120 new cases of the virus.
