NRP Seek Help Identifying Suspicious Thorold Man

Police are asking for your assistance identifying a suspicious man in the Thorold area.

Officers report that between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on April 15th, an 11 year old boy was walking home near the intersection of Front Street North and McNamara Street in Thorold. 

An unknown male drove by, offering the child a ride home. 

The boy accepted, and his bike was loaded into the trunk. 

The child was taken home safely, and the man gave the boy a small sum of cash. 

While no crime has been alleged, officers are interested in speaking with the man in order to determine his intentions. 

The man is described as white with long blonde hair in a bun and a hat and a beard/moustache. 

He was wearing sunglasses, blue jeans, black shoes, a construction vest, and a lumberjack/construction worker red long polo shirt with plaid. 

His vehicle is black, and is described as either a Tesla Model 3 or an Infinity Q60 four door sedan with tinted windows. 

It has a cloth interior and a loud/custom exhaust system, it bears an Ontario license plate with a partial marker "HIQ1."
