Update: Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and Watches End, Heat Warning Remains

Cooler temperatures expected tonight.

A heat warning remains in effect for Niagara, though all thunderstorm warnings and watches have been called off for the region.

In Niagara, the daytime high reached 32 degrees Celsius today, but the weather office says cooler temperatures are on the way tonight.

Residents are reminded not to leave pets or children inside parked cars.

Hot and humid air can be risky to young children, pregnant women, senior citizens, people with chronic illnesses and anyone who works or exercises outdoors.
