Niagara to Enter Grey Zone

The province has released more details on the return to the colour-coded COVID-19 framework.

Twenty-seven regions in the province will be transitioned out of the shutdown into the revised framework on Tuesday.

This includes Niagara, which will be entering the grey zone of the framework.

Under grey zone rules, people are required to limit contact to only members of their own household, unless they live alone.

People who live alone can have contact with one other household.

Outdoor social gatherings and religious services, weddings and funerals can have a maximum of ten people, indoors or outdoors.

Indoor and outdoor restaurant services will remain closed, however, people can still order takeout, delivery or drive-thru service.

Supermarkets can have a 50 percent capacity, and other retailers can operate at 25 percent capacity.

The four remaining public health regions - Toronto Public Health, Peel Public Health, York Region Public Health and North Bay Parry Sound District will remain under stay at home orders until February 22nd.

More information on what each zone means can be found here
