Niagara Regional Police Looking for Help Identifying Suspect in Fraud Case

8 additional complainants have come forward since first case was made public

Niagara Regional Police are looking for help identifying a suspect in fraud investigation. 

In June, police launched an investgation after an elderly complainant was deceived into believing her grandson had been arrested by the RCMP and was in need of immediate assistance in order to be released from custody.  

Since the original complaint came out, 8 additional elderly complainants have come forward and police have linked the original suspect to each of the on-going fraud investigations. 

The suspect is described as black female, between the ages of 35-to-45 with black hair worn in a bun, she was wearing a sleeveless white blouse with black pants and black sandals carrying a beige purse. 

A tattoo can also be seen on the suspects left wrist. 

The suspect was travelling in a blue/grey four door vehicle.
