Niagara Public Health Holding COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics For Kids Aged 6 Months to Under 5

Provincial booking system opened this morning for children aged six months to four years old.

Niagara Region Public Health has announced several COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

This comes as the province's booking system opened this morning for children between six months and four years old.

The following clinics are available through the provincial booking system:

  • July 28-30, Aug. 2-5 - Niagara Falls, Canada One Outlet Mall (beside Urban Kids)
  • July 29 - St. Catharines, Pen Centre (By Stars Menswear, Tim Hortons and Booster Juice)
  • Aug. 2, 4-5 - St. Catharines and Thorold Public Health office
  • Aug. 3 - Welland Public Health office

Public Health says it's prioritizing children aged six months to four years old.

As a result, walk-ins will not be accepted at these clinics, and new bookings cannot be made for anyone aged five and older at this time.

However, COVID-19 shots remain available at participating pharmacies and family doctor's offices.

Public Health says as demand for children in this age group lessens, appointments for  other age groups and walk-ins will resume.
