New Air Travel Testing Rules Now in Effect in U.S.

Changes were announced last week

As of this morning, all Canadian and international travellers flying into a U.S. airport will have to show proof of a negative COVID -19 test within one day of departure.

Previously a test could be taken up to three days before entering the country.

As well, all foreign nationals who travel to the states must be fully vaccinated.

So far the White House has left travel along its land borders with Canada and Mexico out of the new testing requirement.
