March Break Activities in Niagara

March break taking place next week

March break is right around the corner, and if you're looking for fun things to do with your kids, there are lots of options in Niagara.

A list of some activities in Niagara is below. 

 

St. Catharines

Kiwanis Aquatics Centre: Leisure swims will run daily from March 13th to 17th. Pre-registration is required.

The centre will also have pay-as-you-go swimming lessons from March 13th to April 2nd 

Skating: Public skates are scheduled at Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre, where advance booking is required. You can also head to Bill Burgoyne Arena where reservations are not required. More information is available here.

Port Weller Community Centre: Kids aged three to twelve will get to enjoy the City's Blue Blocks on March 13th between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. On March 15th, kids aged three to twelve can visit the Family Gym between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. More information on activities for kids at the centre can be found here.

St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre: The museum will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drop-in activities include Bright Ideas and I-Spy Tours, where kids will learn about trailblazing women in St. Catharines. Other activities include colouring and mazes.


Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls History Museum: The museum is bringing back the Mad For Science series of interactive shows. Shows will take place daily from March 14th to 17th. Tickets can be bought here. nfexchange.ca

MacBain Community Centre: The centre will offer swimming during the March break, as well as library programs and the Reptile Kingdom program, which will have shows at noon and 2:00 p.m on March 17th.

Skating: Kids can grab their friends and head over to the Gale Centre Arena or Chippawa Memorial Arena. More information is available here.
