March Break Activities in Niagara

Several activities and events coming to Niagara Falls and St. Catharines during the March Break.

March break is right around the corner, and there are lots of activities in the area for families to enjoy. 

In Niagara Falls, pickleball and drop-in basketball will be offered March 14th to 18th from noon to 2:00 p.m at the MacBain Community Centre.

Basketball will be $5 per person, and you'll need to bring your own ball. Pickleball courts will need to be booked in advance here, and the cost is $10 per court. There will also be public skating at the Gale Centre and Chippawa-Willoughby Arena. More information can be found here

 

As well, Mad Science will be offered at the Niagara Falls Museum  March 15th to 18th, with daily shows at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

In St. Catharines, there will be leisure swims daily at the Kiwanis Aquatics Centre from March 14th to 18th. There will also be daily public skating at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre. Reservations will be required for skating and swimming. 

As well, youth aged 11 to 14 can participate in the Red Cross Babysitter Course at the Russell Avenue Community Centre on March 15th. 

Families can also head over to the Port Weller Community Centre on March 18th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. for a story walk, featuring the book "Forever Friends" by Carin Berger.

In Port Colborne, the City says a free public skate will be held on Wednesday, March 16th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre. 

As well, beginning on Monday, the Port Colborne Public Library will offer free Ontario Parks Day Passes and free STEAM activity kits for kids aged 6 to 12. 

Kids aged 11 and older can also enjoy the Captain Colby's Lost Treasure virtual escape room at the library.
