Long Term Care Homes in Niagara Getting Cash for Improvements

Money will go toward improvements to ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems

Several Niagara long term care homes will benefit from some new provincial federal money.

Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff announcing combined funding of $7 million to help install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as retrofit or repair fire sprinkler systems.

Among the local recipients Eventide in Niagara Falls, Albright Gardens in Beamsville, Shalom Manor in Grimsby, The United Mennonite Home in Vineland, Tabor Manor and Heidehof Home both in St. Catharines.

Oosterhoff noting "Today's investment in homes across the province is another part of our government’s plan to ensure our loved ones live in comfort and with the safety, dignity and respect they deserve."
