New family-friendly outdoor celebration coming to downtown St. Catharines and Port Dalhousie.
A new holiday celebration is coming to St. Catharines!
From December 11th until January 9th, "Let it Glow - A Celebration of Light" will illuminate the City.
Organizers say the new event will feature interactive light installations, entertainment, winter workshops and cultural programming.
Let it Glow is a free, self-guided light tour, but a variety of special events will take place in both downtown St. Catharines and Port Dalhousie.
This includes live performances and visits from Santa.
"Let it Glow - A Celebration of Light, will attract visitors to our downtown and Port Dalhousie business districts to enjoy the light installations, and provide an opportunity to support the many businesses and restaurants owned and operated by local families, friends and neighbours." says Karen Doyle, the City’s tourism marketing officer. "It is a safe and special way to brighten our neighbourhoods and discover the magic in our own backyard this holiday season."
