It's Municipal Voting Day in Ontario

Our newsroom will have election results on the half hour

Your chance is here to decide who will run the show at city hall, as well as for school boards, is here.

It's municipal election day in Ontario.

Polls open at 10a-m, close at 8, with some variation across municipalities.

Remember to bring your voter ID card and one piece of ID, although you can be added to the voters list at the poll.

St. Catharines Transit and Niagara Falls Transit are both offering rides to voting stations, and if you show your ID card, it's free.

Some competitive mayoral races to watch include former provincial party leaders Liberal Steven Del Duca and New Democrat Andrea Horwath hoping for wins in Vaughan and Hamilton, respectively.

We will have full election coverage tonight, on the half hour, covering Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, St. Catharines, Niagara on the Lake, Welland and others.
