The Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development Monte McNaughton called into the radio station today to talk about news of the new $15 minimum wage.

In the interview, Minister McNaughton discusses the following:

- The minimum wage legislation being part of the Fall Economic Outlook. 

- Does this wage increase go far enough, given that most people cannot live on the minimum wage in Ontario. 

- How employers can cope with the increase as they try to rebound from the pandemic. 

- Minister McNaughton discusses the labour shortage in Ontario and some of the opportunities that are available in the trades.
