Heat Warning Issued for Niagara

Daytime highs to reach the high 20s and low 30s tomorrow and Sunday, with humidex values in the high 30s to low 40s.

More hot and humid weather for Niagara.

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the region.

Tomorrow and Sunday, daytime highs will be in the high 20s to low 30s, with humidex values in the high 30s and low 40s.

Overnight lows will be in the low 20s, providing little relief from the heat.

Cooler temperatures are in the forecast for Monday.

The weather office says humid weather can be risky for young children, senior citizens, pregnant women, people with chronic illnesses and anyone who exercises or works outdoors.

You're advised to drink plenty of water, check on older friends and family members, and never leave pets or people inside parked cars.
