Afternoon temps near 33 and humidex values near 43 are expected.

An overnight low near 21 is forecast tonight and will provide a little relief from the excessive heat.

The weather agency is warning air quality could be a problem as well resulting in the Air Quality Health Index to reach the high risk category.

Risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
