Hamilton City Workers Under Investigation

Three workers are on paid leave accused of allowing people to jump the queue and get a COVID vaccine.

The city’s health unit reporting approximately 15 vaccine doses were given to non priority residents at a mobile vaccine clinic

Last week, Hamilton began vaccinating residents 85 years of age or older.

The city’s Medical officer of Health Dr. Elizabeth Richardson says “Any actions designed to circumvent the vaccine program’s eligibility criteria are unethical and unacceptable.”
