Habitat for Humanity Port Colborne Build Featured in Documentary Series

Show airs beginning June 9th on AMT-tv

Employable Me is a six-part documentary series that features job-seekers determined to show that having a physical disability or neurological condition shouldn’t make them unemployable. 

Each one-hour instalment features two job seekers who are blind, partially sighted or have a neurological condition such as cerebral palsy or Autism Spectrum Disorder as they change employer’s perceptions and possibly land a coveted job.

On June 9th an episode will air at 8 pm on AMI.ca or the AMI-tv App featuring Habitat Niagara’s Port Colborne build site.

The episode showcases Shauna who has Autism Spectrum Disorder and has completed college courses in welding, sheet metal and woodworking, has Autism Spectrum Disorder is featured in the episode.
