Five People Charged by NRP in Drug Trafficking Investigation

Five people have been charged, in a drug bust that has been about a year in the making.

The NRP started a drug trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls late last year.

Police searched a home in Niagara Falls yesterday, in the White Oak Ave and Mann Street area.

They also searched a home in Thorold; located in the Wilkerson Street and Secord Street area.

Officers found 1.5 kilograms of fentanyl, 1 kilogram of crystal meth and half a kilogram of cocaine. The drugs have a combined street value of about $685,000.

Police also seized $20,000 cash and various drug paraphernalia. 

They charged a 26-year-old man from Mississauga and a 25-year-old man from Toronto with the following offences;

- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Meth)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime

Police also charged a 23-year-old man from Mississauga, and a 25-year-old and an 18-year-old from Wasaga Beach with the following offences;

- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Meth)
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime
