Federal Leaders Speak on Key Issues

Another busy day on the campaign trail.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau spoke with supporters in Montreal, promising his party would hire 7,500 new family doctors in four years if elected.

In Montreal, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said his party would fight climate change by changing subsidies for oil and gas companies into funding for renewable energy projects.

Meanwhile, Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole was in Ottawa appealing to workers.

He promised his party would require workplaces to have worker representation on their boards of directors if they have over 1,000 staff and more than $100 million in revenue every year.
