Environment Canada Issues First Heat Related Weather Alert of the Year.

Niagara however is exempt

Looks like the Niagara Region will be a little cooler today than the rest of Southern Ontario.

Environment Canada has issued special weather statements for much of the southern half of the province from Hamilton all the way to Windsor.

The weather office says the first heat event of the season will bring hot and humid weather today into tomorrow in those areas with temperatures in the 30 degree range.

Cooler air is expected to arrive on Wednesday.

In Niagara today we can expect sunny skies and a high of 29 with a humidex near 32.
