Easter Weekend Happenings Around Niagara

Easter egg hunts go virtual!

The Town of Pelham will mark Easter with the "Hoppin' Easter" event!

From April 2nd to the 5th, participants can enjoy virtual events such as an interactive magic show, a scavenger hunt on the Town's GooseChase app, and a creative colouring contest. 

 

The Thorold Easter Egg Hunt and StoryWalk is a go for this coming weekend.

The walk, presented by the Thorold Business Improvement Area Association, will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Participants will be given a a picture book  to guide them as they collect 10 Easter egg prizes while they go on a StoryWalk through downtown Thorold.

All eggs contain a prize from local businesses, including keychains from the Post Office by Shannon Passero, piggy banks from Thorold Community Credit Union, colouring books from Thorold Public Library, bath bombs from Da Bomb, pizza from Papa Vince or Easter gift baskets from Henderson’s Pharmasave.

Everyone will be required to complete COVID-19 screening, hand sanitization and staggered start times to ensure proper social distancing.

The City of Port Colborne is asking residents to PORTicipate online this holiday long weekend with a City of Port Colborne Virtual Easter Challenge.

Starting 8 a.m. on April 1, until 10 p.m. on April 5, the City of Port Colborne’s Virtual Easter Challenge will include activities that can be completed at home or outside, in a socially distance manner, using
the GooseChase app. 

The app can be downloaded for free on IOS or Android from the app store

Instructions on how to join the game can be found on the city’s website.
