Diodati Re-elected in Niagara Falls, Siscoe Becomes New St. Catharines Mayor

Niagara's election results are in.

Jim Diodati will serve a fourth term as mayor of Niagara Falls. 

Diodati took a commanding early lead, with Sandra Marie MacKinnon coming in second place. 

Regional council (unofficial) results show Kim Craitor, Joyce Morocco and Bob Gale have been elected. 

In St. Catharines, Mat Siscoe has been elected mayor, and Marvin Junkin will return as mayor of Pelham. 

Meanwhile, Fort Erie incumbent Wayne Redekop will serve another term as mayor of Fort Erie, and Terry Ugulini has defeated Damon Ford as mayor of Thorold. 

Controversial West Lincoln incumbent Dave Bylsma has been defeated by Cheryl Gannon. 

Jeff Jordan will return as mayor of Grimsby, and in the race for Port Colborne mayor, Bill Steele has defeated his brother Charles Steele. 

In Pelham, Marvin Junkin will return to the mayor's seat. 

Meanwhile, Niagara-on-the-Lake will have a new mayor. 

Betty Disero has been defeated by challenger Gary Zalepa. 

In Welland, Frank Campion has been re-elected, while Sandra Easton will serve another term as mayor of Lincoln after running unopposed. 

Finally, in Wainfleet, the Standard reporting challenger Brian Grant has narrowly defeated incumbent Kevin Gibson.
