City of Welland Looking to Recruit Seasonal Workers

Openings include camp positions, aquatics, and public works

The City of Welland is looking to hire workers for the upcoming summer season. 

Staff will be on-site at Brock University and Niagara College next week, participating in career fairs.

Jobs available this year include camp positions, aquatics, public works, the Empire Sportsplex and co-op positions. 

The City says successful applicants who require lifeguard certification, pleasure craft operation, food handling and CPR/first aid training will have the opportunity to receive free training. 

The career fair dates are as follows:

February 7: Niagara College, Welland Campus, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Learning Commons.

February 8: Brock University, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

February 9: Niagara College, Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Yerich Auditorium.
