Christmas in Pelham to Return

Festivities will include in-person Outdoor Market, Santa Claus parade and a new hybrid digital scavenger hunt.

Christmas in Pelham is returning!

Several in-person events will be held as part of this year's celebration.

The Outdoor Market will take place Friday, December 3rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m at Town Square.

The event will include live entertainment, festive food, local artisans, and visits with the big guy in red.

On Saturday, December 11th, the Santa Claus Parade will be held at 1:00 p.m.

It will start at Bethany Christian Reformed Church on Balfour Street to Canboro Road, through the downtown core of Fenwick to Church Street, and finish at Centennial Park.

"It is exciting to be able to see the return of Pelham’s annual holiday festivities," said Mayor Marvin Junkin. "After so long of being apart, it is encouraging to have something to look forward to this season."

Also returning are the annual house decorating contest and self-guided light tour.

Residents can participate by decorating their houses or driving through the route to see the displays starting December 13th.

Letters to Santa will continue, and notes can be dropped off at the Meridian Community Centre mailbox.

In addition, the Great Elf Challenge will be held this year.

Residents can enjoy the hybrid digital scavenger hunt between December 1st and 12th, and complete challenges to win prizes.
