Border Closure Agreement Expires This Week

Chorus of calls to ease restrictions

The border closure agreement between Ottawa and Washington is expected to be renewed before the current restrictions come to an end May 21st

Last week, we heard preliminary talks are underway between U.S. and Canadian officials on a reopening plan.

And a Buffalo area congressman is once again calling for an easing of restrictions at the border.

Representative Brian Higgins making another plea to the President to reopen the border after the CDC announced last week Americans who have had a double dose of a COVID vaccine don’t have to wear masks in most indoor and outdoor settings.
