OPP near Ottawa reached out to the NRP concerning a vehicle
A 26-year old man from Quebec has been arrested after a Toyota Tundra was stolen from Thorold earlier this month.
The NRP was called to a home to find two suspects stole the 2023 vehicle, and while they were looking into this, provincial police near Ottawa gave them a call.
They told NRP they saw a Toyota Tundra, with a smashed out rear window being driven, and when they stopped it, they confirmed it was stolen.
Police have charged William Cardinal with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and breach of probation, he had a bail hearing.
Police cannot confirm is Cardinal is the same suspect in a picture released yesterday of someone trying to break into a vehicle in Fonthill.
Police are also working to determine who the 2nd suspect is in the Thorold car theft.
