Adopt a Regional Road Looking for Help

Region's Adopt-a-Road program looking for partners

A program that's been in place in the region for a number of years is looking for some help.

The Niagara Region’s Adopt-a-Road program is looking to partner with volunteer groups and organizations who want to help beautify their community and pick up litter along Regional road rights-of-way.

The program has been in place for many years with local service clubs, schools, youth groups, neighbourhood and business associations, businesses and others wishing to participate.

Adopt-a-Road is a way for citizens, community and civic organizations, private businesses, and industry to contribute to making roads in Niagara more clean and beautiful.

People looking for more information, or who want to Adopt-a-Road in their community, can start with a visit to the Adopt-a-Road webpage on Niagara Region’s website.

The Region posts a sign on the adopted road  with the name of the group or organization, acknowledging their clean up efforts.
