50 Plus Can Start Booking COVID Booster Shots Today

Booking portal opened at 8 am

Ontarians who are 50 plus and fully vaccinated have started booking their COVID booster shots

Appointments should be booked by Ontarians who had their second shot approximately six months or 168 days ago

Appointments can be made through the COVID-19 vaccination portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre, at select pharmacies and primary care settings.

Niagara's Acting Medical Officer of Health tweeting out, "With low numbers of children booked into clinics over the next few days, we've started shifting appointments over to adults for 1st/2nd/booster doses. As the week progresses, we'll continue shifting vacant appointments from children to adults."

Residents looking to make an appointment for a COVID vaccine can also call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre, or book at select pharmacies and primary care settings.

Starting January 4th, the province will expand the booster shot program to include eligible residents 18 years of age or older
