22 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

Five people remain hospitalized with the virus.

Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 22 new COVID-19 infections. 

The area's death toll remains at 437. 

There are five Niagara Health patients with the virus, and all of them are in the ICU. 

Throughout the region, there are 154 active cases and nine active outbreaks. 

More than 727,000 vaccinations have been administered in Niagara.

About 77 percent of local residents have one shot, and 73.6 percent are fully vaccinated.
