18 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

Nine patients fighting virus within Niagara Health.

A slight drop in Niagara's daily COVID-19 case count. 

Public Health is reporting 18 new infections today. 

The death toll is unchanged at 439. 

There are nine Niagara Health patients with the virus, and one of them is in the ICU. 

Three of the patients are double-dosed. 

Sixty-two of the region's 177 active cases are in St. Catharines. 

Welland has 22 and Lincoln and Niagara Falls have 14 active cases each. 

Throughout the region, there are 11 active outbreaks. 

Just over 749,000 vaccinations have been administered. 

About 77.9 percent of local residents have one jab and 75.4 percent have two.
