Over 600 vehicles were stopped on Saturday night by the Niagara Regional Police during RIDE checks in St. Catharines and Thorold.
According to police, 10 drivers were given breathalyzers: though only 2 resulted in license suspension.
Despite a few bad apples, police say they were pleasantly surprised with the amount of designated drivers.
