Provincial Funding for Arts and Culture in Niagara

It's boost for the arts in Niagara.

Provincial funding will support Bravo Niagara! Festival of the Arts and Music Niagara.

Ontario is doling out 50 grants to theatre and music organizations to help them pay artistic and operational costs.

The funds will help cover important expenses like employee wages and programming costs.

Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff announced the grants and says this investment will help these organizations continue to have a positive impact in the the local community.

Bravo Niagara! Festival of the Arts and Music Niagara are both in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Oosterhoff says the funding will help these groups create good jobs and draw visitors to the Region.
