Police are on the lookout for two wanted men, with connections to St. Catharines and Toronto.
According to the Niagara Regional Police, 23-year-old Moaid M. Mohamed and 25-year-old Ibrahim Muhamed Suliman have both been charged with numerous offences related to human trafficking and child sexual abuse.
Officers say the victim was a girl, who was under 16-years-old at the time.
An investigation revealed that Suliman had escaped the country and Mohamed had also tried to flee Canada to Africa.
Police now believe both men may have returned to Canada, but their whereabouts are unknown at this time.
