Lakeside Park Carousel Closed Due to Flooding

The Lakeside Park Carousel is closed, once again.

The park in Port Dalhousie has flooded with water from Lake Ontario, thanks to last night's heavy rain.

Officials have decided to close the carousel until further notice. 

City staff will make sure the carousel is protected and will further assess the situation.

The popular attraction had finally opened for the summer over the long weekend, after a two-month delay also caused by flooding.
