Today is Pink Shirt Day

A day to put on the pink and take a stand against bullying.

The day began at a Nova Scotia high school when a group of teens organized a protest to wear pink in sympathy with a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.

This goal this year is to "lift each other up",  work together and treat each other with dignity and respect.

Pathstone Mental Health in Niagara noting that studies show that when someone intervenes, 50% of bullying ends within 10 seconds.

Pathstone is sharing the story of a client, Ash, who was bullied and now with help from a therapist is thriving.
