Police Investigating Fatality at Niagara Falls Transit Hub

Cause of death remains under investigation

Police are investigating after a man died at a Niagara Falls bus transit hub.

Investigators say emergency crews were called to the hub located on Morrison Street west of Dorchester Road just before 6:00 a.m. this morning.

Paramedics at the scene attempted to resuscitate a critically injured man believed to be in his 50s or 60s, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's identity has not been confirmed, and the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.

Nearby residents or businesses with closed circuit security cameras, dash cams or doorbell video cameras are asked to review their footage between 11:10 PM last night and 5:52 AM today.

The bus transit hub is an exchange point for the public to access multiple City of Niagara Falls transit buses.

The transit hub is part of a parking lot, in the vicinity of multiple stores.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or Niagara Regional Police at 905-688-4111, extension 1009089.
