Oosterhoff Calls on Teachers' Unions to Return to Bargaining

Sam Oosterhoff says the time for a deal is now.

The Niagara West MPP and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education is calling on the teachers' unions to stop escalating job action and return to the bargaining table.
Oosterhoff says the government has made concessions in lowering class sizes, supporting unique learning needs and full-day kindergarten.
He says the unions have not made major changes to their original proposals in return.
Oosterhoof says the government is focused on investing in schools and classrooms, while the unions are focused on wages and benefit packages.
This comes as two teachers' unions held province-wide strikes yesterday and another will announce escalated job action plans on Monday.
