New Niagara Rule, One Rider Per Golf Cart

All courses in Niagara notified by Public Health and Labour Ministry of new rule

In an email blast to its customers, Thundering Waters Golf Club in Niagara Falls says it was notified a short time ago, they must revert back to single rider carts unless riders live in the same household.

Course officials says "This is of course contrary to previously provided guidance which afforded two people to ride together as long as they wore a mask while inside the cart."

The email goes on to say "This new Niagara-only directive will have a significant impact on our tee sheet and unfortunately cause delays for a number of tee times each day."

Officials add " If you're scheduled to play with us June 19th to July 1st, we ask that you contact the pro shop the day before your tee time to find out if your tee time will be impacted. We are frustrated and disappointed by this sudden change and the lack of clarity provided."

The email ends, "We hope that this is short lived and will certainly continue to provide updates as we have them."
